Quick question: Is there a simple way to invoke this widget from the command line, without adding it to any panel or the desktop?
Trying to assign it to a gesture from the program called fusuma

I just played around with the qml files and made it look the way I wanted it to. The search bar is not actually hidden, it's offset up so that you can't see it on the screen and made a few more tweaks as well. I can share the qml file if you want.

I would very much appreciate the QML file as well. I've been looking all over trying to find a way to bring the Gnome 3 launcher / initial menu into KDE. I heard about some people referencing QOverview, but this (the screenshot above) looks pretty damn good.

How can I add blur to this plasmoid? It runs with usual transparency by default and if the background is non dark it looks soapy: https://i.imgur.com/ishYHJV.png Could you fix it please?

This is a great little full screen launcher. Set your keyboard shortcut to alt-f1, and you can use the Windows key to access all your favorite applications instantly.
