Description: CBlue Remix emerged from CBlack. All credits go to the creator of CBlack Original theme: https://www.opendesktop.org/p/1161427/ GitHub project: https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-spices-themes/tree/master/CBlack
############
Installation ROOT: 1. extract the file: tar -xvf CBlue-Remix.tar.xz 2. move the extracted file to /usr/share/themes/ sudo mv CBlue-Remix.tar.xz /usr/share/themes/
$$$
Installation Non-ROOT: 1. extract the file: tar -xvf CBlue-Remix.tar.xz 2. create a .themes directory in the home directory if the directory does not exist: mkdir $HOME/.themes 3. move the extracted file to ~/.themes/ mv CBlue-Remix.tar.xz $HOME/.themes/
-------------------- The font used in this preview is supported by the theme if you have this font. You can download the font here: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/arima Else other font will be shown.
The root installation requires root permission. I would recommend you to set this theme as regular user. This is not a heavy theme, and you can always update(if there is any) without root permission if you do install it as a regular user. Remember that you can create a ".themes" directory in your home directory, if that doesn't exist. Hope you will like the theme. It's again, based on CBlack, the links to(CBlack) github and opendesktop.org are provided above.Last changelog:
It's only for cinnamon desktop. Download it. Extract it. Copy it to ~/.themes
Then go to System Settings => Themes => Desktop
Choose CBlue.
This is for Linux Mint. Hopefully, will work on other systems with cinnamon desktop too, if the DE installed properly.
If you are using cinnamon, can I know why doesn't it work? Does it give you some error? Does the look and feel differ? Or does something else? Please let me know!
