Sorry about being such a noobie, I'm new in KDE, but how do I apply it? It only changed the window decoration.

Hi. Yes, it only change the windows decoration, i. e., the title bar and window buttons. You can change this using the System Settings, in the Application Style tab. To get the other style, the semitransparent blurred background for whole window you ha
ve to install Kvantum.

Thank you for you answer but with "window controls" I mean (in you case) the red-green-yellow buttons. When you maximize a window the window border (on top op the application window) goes away and the red-green-yellow button move to the top bar. The Global Menu widget won't do that for me I think. Do you agree? I would like to do that too. But how?
