This is a QtCurve theme that I made to go with a couple of other themes based around an aurora borealis wallpaper. Basically the idea was to have something dark with gradients, transparency, blur, and skeuomorphic icons. I think the theme is completely color agnostic, though, so it should work with whatever color scheme and other stuff you want to use it with. It does have gradients, though. No giant flat UI elements here.
Wouldn't mind collaborating if anyone wants to improve it, though :)
More oxygen kwin theme related edits 10 months ago
Decided to go with window bg 85% opacity, popups and menus 65%. I also changed the gradient a little. This is only for the file called glassy-theme-oxygen. It was to make the theme work better with the oxygen kwin theme (see last changelog)

Added theme with more opaque windows 10 months ago
Having 65% opacity looked a little odd with the totally opaque oxygen window decorations, so I made a version with 75% opacity. Might actually increase further depending on how this turns out
1.2 Making the scrollbar more visible with stripes 10 months ago
I had been finding that the scrollbar blended in too much with the background, so I wanted to make it more visible. I made it "striped." I often use selection background color for this kind of stuff, but I felt that that was too bright. I could have used darkened selection background color as well, but I didn't

Next, mouse-over the QtCurve theme and click on the edit button (in my icon theme it looks like a piece of paper with a pencil across it). From there, click on the "import" button and select the file.
If you don't have plasma installed, but you do have qt5ct, you can still get it to work, I think. I'm pretty sure you move the .qtcurve file to the folder ~/.config/qtcurve/ and then rename it to stylerc. There is also a file in my ~/.config/qtcurve/ directory called gtk-icons. I'm not really sure what that is and if it's necessary.
The above should also work to install the theme for gtk2 provided that you have qtcurve-gtk2 installed (or whatever that is called in your repos), and you select it with whatever utility you normally use to set gtk2 themes (I normally use Plasma5 system settings).
There is no way to use QtCurve themes with GTK3.
In any case, you will want to select a color scheme as well, using either Plasma5 system settings or qt5ct. The theme doesn't use any custom colors, though, so it should work with whatever color scheme you throw at it. The one in the screenshots is this one: https://www.pling.com/p/1277651/
Feel free to ask any questions if I didn't explain something well.
