10PHOB1AN, thank you for this, I appreciate it. I have dabbled in GTK3 theming before; I won't make any promises, but I'll see how hard it is to modify an existing theme to match. Right now I'm looking at E17gtk to modify. It will take awhile, but I'd like to see this idea gain more traction (matching Steam theming with GTK & QT).
I've hacked Breeze GTK a couple of times for other themes - pretty straight forward just copy the colors in the colorscheme to the GTKRC and it generally works. Let me know how you get on. Thanks for the vote.

Is there a GTK theme in the works ? would love it
There wasn't but I can add it to the queue. Do you know of any GTK theme that's already similar? (QtCurve automagically does GTK2 at least.)
