Description: *If you are using Plasma 5.26 download v0.3.1+ for anything before that use v0.3.0*

You can encode videos to webp format using ffmpeg with the following command :
Will this app have a version for plasma 6? My Garuda forced entry to plasma 6. But this add-on is more important to me than plasma 6. Now I'm unable to use it... 😐
It works but my sound volume control acts all weird while using this. Most of the time it resets the sound level to previous level and sometime i can change volume. Any fix for this? I am using KDE 5.24 on pop-os.
Hey @hanzosull,
This sounds weird can you open an issue at : https://github.com/dark-eye/com.darkeye.animatedImage/issues
and paste a video of this issue?
Thanks,
Hey @greencode :)
The simple way :
-right click the KDE desktop , then go :
"Configure Desktop and Wallpaper" -> Click "Get new plugins" -> search for "Animated Image Wallpaper" -> Click "Install"
The terminal way :
- Download the tar.gz file form the to right.
- extract it someware with tar -xzf
- run : plasmapkg2 --install
- Enjoy :)
Wow that is incomprehensible... maybe this will be better...

Hey grompes,
It seems to work for me when downloading from the kde-look repos if anyone have more information on this problem please open an issue on it at : https://github.com/dark-eye/com.darkeye.animatedImage/issues
Thanks,
Some of them is simply by search 'animated image' in duckduckgo but most of them are from here : https://livingstills.tumblr.com/
he has alot more works in his archive too.
Hey
Yeah, currently there's no GPU acceleration so if you are using a big image/video it will not cache it to preserve memory this will lead to increase CPU usage.
I think i`ll add a toggle in the configuration to allow you to forcefully cache any image.
99 excellent
I really LOVE this, and i think could be better, if could be enable a switching immage around some prefixes GIFs, to make more dynamic the tool
But just so, remain AMAZING
