revamp of menu with new options and fixed bugs :). - Show/hide filters - New animations
How to remove certain group of applications here? Currently, my entire screen is infested with icons occupied by "LSP Plugins", which I don't even use. The plugin seems only half-done, since users don't have a good control on what to display there.
3 3 bad - Failed my standard test to open 'Custom Shortcuts' from Settings, by typing 'cus' - it wasn't found at all...
5 This looks confusing and deorganized with the amount of apps one would usually have. Without the categories, there needs to be some form of grouping, like how Gnome allows you to, Mac's launchpad also does and even Android allows you to create folders for your apps.
7 7 good Works and looks great! Only issue, I wanted this to supplement my normal application menu that opens with the windows key / meta key, but this overrides that and I cannot find any setting it's changing or how to fix it.
10 I absolutely love this launcher, I made an account just to review it, thank you so much for this. If I may suggest something for the future, it would be nice to be able to have an option to always sort favourites alphabetically.
3 suggestions for the next releases : 1. As favorites are displayed at the bottom of the screen (dock style). Remove the favorites from the grid (displayed in the left in the grid). 2. Allow the user to display or not the favorites on the screen. 3. An option to hide the applications that we don't want to see in the grid. Also, be able to displayed again them if necessary. Thanks.
Suggestions 2 and 3 are available but not the 1. So, can you keep favorites at the bottom of the screen (dock) and remove those who are in the left of the applications grid ? Thanks.
I have over a thousand shortcuts and this program crawls so much it is unusable
Thanks for label background. ;-) I have suggestions. 1. Allow the user to move the icons in the bottom bar (favorites) like we can see in Latte dock, Gnome or MacOSX dock. 2. Allow the user to move the icon display on the grid in the bottom bar with the mouse (or with the finger if we have a touchscreen) and conversely (from the bottom bar to grid). 3. Custom the search bar (for example: Have a look like the Gnome 40/41 searchbar). Regards.
I believe that if you click and hold on one of the items on the bottom bar, you can rearrange them to your liking.
Ok, I will test it. ;-)
Ok, we can reorder the favorites but sometimes it's not easy to move the favorite even by pressing a long time on the left click, can you improve the thing ? Thanks.
Yes, if you hold down the left click you can reorder the favorite applications
very nice. one suggestion: as a multiple monitor user, could it configured to open on focused monitor, or on all monitors if not possible only on focused? thanks!
thanks, that's for kwin to decide. I don't have a monitor to test this setup, maybe these answers can help you https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/sto15w/is_there_a_way_to_open_the_application_launcher/
It did !! thanks !! seems to be working nicelly :)
Is this a shadow displayed on icons text ? Can you add an option to enable or disabled it ? Thanks.
A new feature that you could add to your menu is the display of tooltips when hovering over application icons (already available on 'stupid-simple-launcher', and under Gnome, with the extension 'Applications Overview Tooltip'). The tooltip allows you to indicate the full name of the application and a description of the software below. Of course, this is just a suggestion.
thanks for the suggestion, added in the latest version
Are you able to put in the description what the difference is between each download?
I agree with Ryuke, I would love folders! Please make that a thing, also drag n' drop from launchpad to latte dock would be nice. Having to launch an app and then pin that to the dock is dreadful, just dreadful. Lastly, maybe the ability to control spacing between icons! Love it already though and thanks for making this! :)
if this had an option to add folders this would be my favorite kde launcher/app menu/app drawer. I love the customizability of KDE but man do I love the app drawer of Gnome better. If i could have that app drawer with the rest of kde I would have the perfect setup for me.
Awesome but there could be an option to make app folders much like Mac's actual Launchpad
7 there is a slight problem where if I use the search bar and delete the search it leaves the application list blank after the search field is cleared
