Download instructions:
Method 1:
1. git clone https://github.com/garak92/powered-plymouth-theme/ or download and extract the .tar.gz file provided on this page
2. cd powered-plymouth-theme/
3. sudo mv powered-plymouth-theme/ /usr/share/plymouth/themes/
4. sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/share/plymouth/themes/default.plymouth default.plymouth /usr/share/plymouth/themes/powered-plymouth-theme/powered-plymouth-theme.plymouth 100
5. sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth
6. sudo update-initramfs -u
Method 2:
1. Download the installation script provided on this page (install .sh)
2. Open a terminal and give it execute permissions by doing chmod +x install.sh
3. Run it by doing ./install.sh

1 bad not work
for me the installations using the .sh file didn't work, but manually doing the theme works well and it's very beautiful. Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa.
