Hello, this is the developer speaking. I personally held back from uploading QPrompt's AppImage at AppImageHub because it does not work on Ubuntu 18.04 and derivatives. You need a distro from 2020 or later in order to run this AppImage.
Having said that, this AppImage is legit and I approve of its sharing. Here's the SHA256 hash of my original QPrompt 1.0.0 AppImage build, which proves this AppImage is authentic: 179386217654318efb62f391e50eabb090aedeef2f111a9b6b35edc2c6c2c4cf
