9 Was Kubuntu theme removed?
I was able to install your masterpiece but there's a manufacturer's logo. How can I remove the manufacturer's logo?
I edited the .plymouth
Hey, can you explain what did you change? I can't remove the manufacturer's logo
There should be a section [boot-up] Just change UseFirmwareBackground to false
Remember to update plymouth settings according to your linux distro
is it possible to make one with the new ubuntu logo?
I am fine with the old ubuntu logo, though.
Marvelous!! But when It starts, you can see the Debian 11 logo on the right of the penguin loading bar! How can I eliminate it (the debian 11 logo) ??
Hi. I use the Debian 11 too. And I have a simple idea for the issue. Rename the /usr/share/desktop-base/debian-logos. For example: mv /usr/share/desktop-base/debian-logos /usr/share/desktop-base/debian-logos.bak I know this way is really ugly, but it exactly works for me. :)
Thanks for the reply!I don't like the method to erase the folder with logo :) Perhaps the best thing would be to adapt the image to a ready -made script like this: https://github.com/adi1090x/prymouth-themes/rene/master/template Thanks anyway ;)
Thank you for the useful message! :)
I have also now Debian 11 and I have that same problem, but your trick doesn't work. the Debian 11 logo is still there next to the plymouth. The file is called debian-logos.bak but nothing changed. Do I miss a step?
ok, your solution worked. I just installed another plymouth and the watermark wasn't there and I have reinstalled this one and the watermark is gone. thanks so much!!
I have made a debian version for the work. Maybe you will need it: https://www.pling.com/p/1888173/.
10 Thanks for your amazing work. I have made a Debian version for this. I'm glad to provide it for your great work, how can I do it?
Sorry, I missed your message. I just saw. Wonderful.
Thank you! :)
10 10 the best
10 10 the best thanks, I have just installed it. easy to install and it works perfectly on 22.04. Much much better than the new orange rectangle on ubuntu and their new ugly icon
Thank you so much :)
Help! How to install this on Manjaro Linux?!
Which desktop environment are you using? Kde, Gnome?
I think this video can help you out with it, since Manjaro is Arch-based: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTk2yG1JFsE remember to replace "set-default-theme" with the theme you want to install (linux-penguin).
10 Please add Kubuntu logo
