Icons are not working, and when I install them from source, they still miss a lot of the icons, including Dolphin, they don't even inherit the missing icons from Breeze, in spite of the index.theme file stating it does. Icons are just broken. SDDM theme keeps calling the on-screen keyboard by default, which goes in the way for me, and I guess it does for most users. The default Firefox theme is broken, too. But I guess that's fixable by installing new one. Some apps keep crashing on me while using this theme. I can't really figure out why....

Sol doesn't come with its own global icon theme, you need to install one. I used NsCDE but you're right, its coverage ain't good. Was thinking of completing an icon theme but haven't done it yet. The standard fix for Virtual Keyboard in SDDM is like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxquestions/comments/7k16ve/disable_virtual_keyboard_in_sddm/ Firefox isn't a Qt app so not sure what's going on there. Sounds like it inherits desktop colors. Maybe post a screenshot for me? Crashing apps - odd, not had that happen before. Try running these apps from a terminal and looking at the output for clues. Its most likely related to using Kvantum theme engine so you might need to try re-installing that, perhaps building from source depending on your distro.

9 Personally, I like this variation more than the regular Commonality. There's also a matching GTK theme (Common Desktop) that goes well with this. Now if only somebody uploaded the NsCDE icon theme here, or at least made a more extensive fork and uploaded it here.

I'm half interested to fork the icon theme for Plasma but really, just wanna break from drawing for a while.

Thank you Phobian, you are hands down one of the best (and my favorite) KDE theme developers. From Expose, Expose Air, and CDE, Im glad you do what you do, this theme is fantastic. Keep up the good work. Haven't found any problems yet.

A vote'd be nice ;p

I love this and the other commonality theme. I just have 2 major issues with it. 1) The task rectangles always overlapping the panel's outline 2) The sound, clipboard and the arrow icons on the notification area are not easily visible, I'd prefer them in a darker color.

Made some changes. Will update soon.

Global Themes

Global Themes in Plasma are Meta- or Super-Themes, capable of changing multiple aspects of the desktop environment at once, like Window Decoration, Plasma Theme, Color Scheme, Icon Theme etc. In addition, one can define the complete Layout, like what panel to use where, the menu type used and much more.

An example Global Theme:
