I sure will add support for an orphan cleaner and flatpaks. I cannot say for sure about the snaps at the moment. You can open an issue on the GitHub so people can chip some help if they really want it.

Appreciate all you're doing. I did have a few other suggestions. Give the option to do no confirm or not and the same with viewing the pkgbuild for the aur part. Personally I almost never edit that and don't want to go straight into vim.
Hello tdtooke. I have updated the widget on the github repo. It is almost a complete rewrite. But it needs some ironing before I put it out. Please test it if you can. It supports Flatpak now as you asked and flag config.
I suggest when clicking on the Arch Update Checker icon in the panel to do an update before the drop menu is shown with updates available or no updates.
For slow networks users, this feature could be an option in the plasmoid configuration.

10 Loving it. My only suggestion would be to add support for snaps and maybe an orphan cleaner. The old updater I used on Plasma5 had those things.
