Description:
Quick Tile Wide is Quick Tile but with 3 columns instead of 2 columns for (ultra)wide monitors.

**Note.** Plasma 6 may not activate shortcuts immediately after installation. Please restart KWin if on X11, or simply restart.

**Warning!** Wayland does not distinguish NumPad keys! If you have no NumPad keys, or have other issues with the default shortcut scheme, please search for "Quick Tile Wide" in KDE Settings > Keyboard > Shortcuts and provide alternative shortcuts.

Quick Tile Wide divides the screen into a 3x2 grid, and allows to place the active window into any resulting rectangle (1x1, 2x1, 3x1, 1x2, 2x2, or 3x2) with a single key combination. Accordingly there are 18 possible ways to place the window.

The default shortcuts are designed to be intuitive and easy to use. No need to memorize numerous counter-intuitive key combinations or change countless settings. There are 2 simple rules to follow:

1) The NumPad keys from 1 to 9 (with Meta) correspond to the part of the screen where you want to move the active window to.

For example, Meta+NumPad 1 places the window to the lower half of the left column, Meta+NumPad 2 places the window to the lower half of the middle column, Meta+NumPad 4 makes it fit the whole left column, and Meta+NumPad 9 places it to the upper half of the right column.

2) Pressing Ctrl at the same time expands the window to the neighbor column(s) -- so the window occupies 2 or even all 3 columns.

For example, Ctrl+Meta+NumPad 1 places the window to the lower half of the left and middle columns, Ctrl+Meta+NumPad 2 places the window to the lower half of all three columns (the whole lower half of the screen), Ctrl+Meta+NumPad 4 makes it fit the whole left and middle columns (2/3 of the screen), and Ctrl+Meta+NumPad 9 places it to the upper half of the middle and right columns.

And that is it!

This is all I needed for myself to work on an ultrawide monitor. However, if there will be any suggestions regarding extending functionality, or providing any settings, I may add those in the future.

Enjoy!
