It works very well and recognizes the music that is played from Spotify. What's more incredible is that it grabs the album art. Something I've never seen in this type of applet.
There is only one problem since Plasma 6 with X11, when entering the configuration mode nothing is shown, just the text box but with nothing inside.

I don't know what you mean, the widget already shows the cover image whenever it is available
