I also took the splash theme.
But in kdm it failed to load the red image with the scorpio, and I got german language.
Do you know how to load the image and how to get italian language?

Love the minimalist approach. Along with your ksplash theme, it makes for one smooth experience. The only thing it's missing is a complimentary plymouth theme.

I'm willing to meet your needs but I'm only an artist I don't really know what plymouth is (some kind of splash?) and even editing the xml was a real pain for me :D
However if you can point me to something that will guide me, then no problem.
