It's bad enough that GNOME users love this aincent GTK1(!) app. But KDE users?

Can you say amaroK, Juk or Noatun?

I knew you could.

Will these enqueue options be added to the quickbrowser from the toolbar?
At the minute I have open in file manager and open in konsole.

I'm just curious :)

On my system, OGGs should also be application/ogg, but if you view properties of the file it is audio/vorbis. That is what I also use for kwavencoder. It does not work with application/ogg on my system (debian sarge).
I added audio/vorbis to the desktop files and it works fine. Shouldn't do any harm on other systems.

This extension is in KDE "open with"-dialog since the days when there were no service menus. Some distributors don't deliver it in their packages however. But you're right, the service menu is the better place for it.

I had a problem installing this in FreeBSD (install wouldn't run, probably my fault :P). So I placed the two .desktop files in ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus manually :D, and it worked liek a charm. I restarted after that, but I beleive it would still work if you didn't (to used to Windows :P).

I suggest instead of the word "playlist" its regular french translation : "liste d'écoute", then it would be :
Ajouter à la liste d'écoute de XMMS.

Simple suggestion of course.

This is a good idea. XMMS would be near-perfect if there were only a decent "minimize to tray" option. This is certainly a step in the right direction.

However, is the install script meant to be run as root, or as a single user (or either)?

If it's meant to be root, it seems adding this to the install script may help:

if (test "$USERNAME" != "root")
then
echo Should be run as root.
exit 1

This is the feature I missed about winamp, you just made xmms perfect in my opinion. Thanks!
