to create something of simple and stable to convert files in dolphin file manager
i get frustrated by ffmpeg develop and i dropped for the moment, even because i lack of time , the ffmpeg service menu so i tried the VLC way
USAGE
SELECT FILES => APPEND TO VLC TRANSCODER
SELECT ONE FILE (NOT ALL) ==> VLC TRANSCODER START.
IF YOU LEAVE FILE SELECTED YOU WILL RUN MULTIPLE TIMES THE SCRIPT
KNOWN ISSUE
NOT EVERY FORMAT WILL WORK THE PROFILE FILE MUST BE EDITED BETTER EXPECIALLY FOR VIDEOS
IF YOU WANT HELP ME TRY TO CREATE A NICE PROFILE FILE LIKE THE DEFAULT ONE THAT YOU SHOULD FIND HERE

Wonderful idea ... although I do not work for me. I'm archlinux x64 and Choose the option that is, it is in me "starting conversation"
hi , make sure you have added some files to the list first so check this file /tmp/kde-service-menu-vlc-transcode-list.lst then run the script from shell let me know what it says kde-service-menu-vlc-transcode
