Hi! Is there something to test? Thanks!
kde4-plasmoid coming soon
Hi, thanks I'm as well using it and now prepared the pisi package for pardus here is the link... http://zaafer.googlepages.com/kbandwith-1.0.4-1.pisi
When compiling, the following was found to be missing from install (kdelibs). Perhaps this useful tool doesn't support KDE v 3.5x.
I did emerge kbandwidth under 3.5.6. Using reiser4 file system. works
I was happy to see that this applet was existing, but got really disapointed when i wanted to modify it. It would have been nice if you used english language in your code. Thanks anyway
Sorry mates, I'm on the go in my learning of Linux (still saying good bye to Windows), how can I use this applet? Thanks a lot.
1.0.4 still show 1.0.3 as the version number :)
Hi! First: Thank you for this applet. I was using kdevmon before, to watch my traffic, but kbandwidth is a much nicer piece of software. However I have a few suggestions: * I would like to have an option for the width of the applet. I would like a smaller applet more. * In my opinion it would be more logical, if the UPload would be above the DOWNload. ridiculous, yes i know, but it really confuses me :-) just my 2 cents. PS: In the about dialog is no contact and license information. intended or forgotten?
thank you coming soon.
displayed when attempting to download
Is there a SuSE9.2 RPM of the new version around?
You can use the FC3 rpm (as root): rpm -Uhv kbandwidth-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm --prefix /opt/kde3
grid line(s) at specified spot(s) option of vertical or horizontal graphs diff. colors for upload and download
Good idea, thanks.
Good work, but how to hold the configuration permanently? After each login the configuration is switched back to default.
This problem arises only with KDE 3.3. I just work on it.
i do wonder why were still getting all these different network interface monitoring applets such as this, knetworkmonitor and knemo, wouldn't it be much more useful to create a KDE frontend to networkmanager(1) and use HAL and all it's goodness, no need to worry about maintaining teh backend tehn, and it supports some great stuff liek automatic network switching and great stuff like that.!? http://people.redhat.com/dcbw/NetworkManager/index.html
If use got applet handles hidden (in kicker config) as I do, there's no way to access its configuration options. You shall handle RMB over applet area as other applets do to avoid such problems
Thanks for your comment, I will solve the problem with the next release(hopefully as soon as possible).
Concerning bugs: The about box is still a template... ...okay this isn't a big bug but should be solved.
allready fixed You can download a new version. Have fun... :)
Good. Debs for 1.0.2 will be uploaded tommorow. PS: could you please start including real changelog with your archives?
Debian package (*.deb) can be found here: http://debian.neo.pl/ Please link to this page, not to the archive directly to avoid problems with future releases.
I wrote a Gentoo ebuild for this great applet! Come and get it here: http://www.lenzheilmann.de/downloads/kbandwidth-1.0.1.tar.gz Have fun, Lenz. P.S.: Feel free to add this URL above, stealth! So that it doesn't get lost.
