Though the theme is rather old now some people might want to use it. The format of the index.theme has changed. Instead of [Icon Theme] Inherits=whiteglass it should say something like this: [Icon Theme] Name=whiteglass Comment=3D whiteglass cursors Example=arrow That has to be changed manually if someone wants to install the theme. Also the theme shouldn't go to ~/.icons/default/cursors anymore but to ~/.icons/whiteglass. You then can select the theme in kcontrol.
Maybe you already use those under windows ? Well, they look almost the same. You remember, there was a green ones and gold ones. If you could release them... Regards,
I did exactly what you said and It doesn't work, still. When I logged out and logged back in it was just my regular mouse cursor. Please Help! I use RedHat 8.0.
I think these icons should be moved into /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icons in Suse and Mandrake
There is no /usr/share/icons/default folder. So how can I install this in Mandrake 9.0?
where can i find the directory in suse? i hava xfree 4.3 but i can?t find the correct directory...
aren't available (all four), or did I make a mistake?
This was my first cursors pack, and i did not knew anything about resizing. I will try to include 24, 32, 48, 64 next time, but first of all I should release my distribution Haydar Linux "http://www.haydarlinux.com".
How do you install these? They look good, BTW.
I don't think that this is a stupid question. I have forgotten to mention anything about installation, but it's now there.
Worked Perfectly....
Amen to what Yaba just said and hey, Haydar, I think those cursors of yours are just sweet. :) Who cares what it looks like they came from? They're here now, and that's what matters. If people don't like that, they're free to use something else. :>
we need a new section for cursors here on KDE-Look.org ;-)
I for one is really happy to see some work on the cursors in X, but I don't think it is directly linked to KDE, except when there are changes to the code. anywho, it seems like the KDE-look team accepted them under the category: X11 Mouse Themes :)
