Just thought this would be good for a start!

The background is Aqua Tux Clouds (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=2045), with some nice round corners, making it look like an old TV. Two transparent kicker panels, the lower one centred; it ain't getting far more cleaner than that. I still have trouble removing the taskbar...

My Desktop at the moment. No fancypants, just nice and clean.

This is the screenshot of my desktop. The background is token capture from the manga series R.O.D. There is a sort of icons from DeviantArt (several modified by me e.g. mozilla, oo.org, gimp, acroread or reboot). The second screenshot shows konsole with enabled opacity

Just testing the "green desktop" idea. I actually quite like it! It's a nice change from blue.
