KDE using material colors palette.

I just stumbled across the design work being done on the upcoming KDE 5 release, and I have to say

/usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.kde.breeze.desktop/contents/components/artwork/background.png /usr

Just a dark theme with green touch. All should be good visible. Firefox needs separate fixing. I suggest using userChrome.css. But thats a problem with almost every dark color theme. See first comment below on how to userChrome.css suggestion. Have fun.
