Up in the Air
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
I took what I liked best out of OS X and Vista and blended them in with KDE, so I have the best of 3 worlds. I've never been happier with the way my desktop works and looks.
FreeBSD 6.0, KDE 3.4
- Wallpaper is from pixelgirlpresents.com called "UpInTheAir"
- Icons are a mix of nuoveXT and Milky folder icons from guistyles.com
- amaroK theme is my own modification of Korama
- Window deco is Crystal with Vista buttons
- Style is the Vista Lipstik mod, and Konqueror has the Baghira sidebar.

In Decoration Options for Crystal there is an Overlay tab. I am using "Simple Lighting" for active and inactive windows, not an image.
The color scheme is the same one that comes with the Lipstik Vistesque style, only the window active/inactive font color is changed.

Also, how do you get it to appear without the tabs that usually go along with the navigation panel?
I've seen many screenshots with that kind of setup, but I've never figured out how to do it myself.

Under [filemanagement] there is HideTabs=false, change it to true and no more tabs. :)
I couldn't find another way but I bet Freddan's works too. :P

To get rid of the tabs, look into settings for a tab called netbehavior. /// Freddan
