Acemone
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
The first version of Acemone with userlist is out!
0.55:
Acemone have reached 500 downloads! It's also time to release the 0.55 version! Changelog: new button set, more detailed and artistic with a different position. Also code is slightly different to fit different screen resolutions: if you experience some trouble this this theme, please, report the bug Comments, ratings, fans are welcome (a motivated worker is a better worker
)!
0.60:
Some minor changes for this new version: different color for username/password label to improve readability, fully commented xml to make editing easier, edited copyright infos in the greeter file. Compatibility up to 1680x1050 resolution is tested and Acemone works without problems. A new version of 0.60 is out from 04/09 to fix some comment tags.
0.69 - with UserList:
After days of coding and many tests, the first Acemone with Userlist alpha is out. Works perfectly on 1280x800, tests with higher and lower resolutions will be done soon. The disposition of items in the theme is very different from standard Acemone, prettier as much as I can do. Advices in this sense are more than welcome, please report bug and problems and I will fix them as soon as possible.
05/06/2009: This is not an update but a communication. Acemone with userlist is now tested and certified for working at all standard resolutions. Thanks to all for over 10,000 downloads! Starting a new iconset for the theme

Hi, can I use this theme on Gnome3?
i need 1680x1050 too :(
1680x1050 is working flawlessly on my Acer screen. I am sure it works (use latest versions ;) )
Please people who votes "Bad" at least can leave a comment to help me improve my theme. Thanks.
Really awesome. I don't even look at the wonderful wallpaper, I'm talking about the very essential and elegant layout. I'd really love to use your GDM theme for the next OpenGEU GDM theme, but I'm going to change the wallpaper of course. The only problem is that I'd need the userlist version! When will it be available for all resolutions? Thanks for creating this in any case :)
Luca, I'm very pleased of your comment. I'm following the IntiLinux project and your OpenGEU since it was GEUbuntu. It will be an honour to be included in your distro, because I'm Italian too and I would be proud to contribute ;) Anyway, Userlist Version code should work at all resolution since I made it with scalable percent parameters, I will test as soon as possible in resolution from 800x480 to 1680x1050. Once I will be sure it works, you can certainly use for OpenGEU theme (maybe I can work on it for you too ;) ). Thanks so much!
Thanks guys for supporting me so much. I'm working now also on some wallpapers. Anyway, I hope there are no bugs in my themes and that look is just fine for you all. If you want something different, just ask! ^^
It's a beautiful theme thanks for your work...
...new version!
If you don't mind me asking, where can I find that wonderful background image you used in your GDM? -Thanks!
It is 'Amanecer' by Eduardo Mejia. In the description of the theme you can find his deviantArt profile, where you can download this wallpaper and more. :)
Very nice GDM! Well done. :-)
I really like your work! Is it possible to make one with a user list?
I wanted a clear and simple design, but a theme with the user list is not excluded at all. Stay tuned and watch this topic frequently to see if there are news :)
This is beautiful. Nice work.
Very good indeed. Cheers
Thanks so much :) I just started working on the theme to use a different button style. Update should be coming soon.
