This rpm is no longer available -- the loser that posted it is to lame to realize it and remove this.
Are you going to just keep "updating" (even though there aren't any changes) your post so that you show up ahead of the RPM posted by the real author? Stop being an asshole and remove this because you didn't make it.
Thank you ! He is a jackass and the SK developers already know what he is doing and they aren't happy with his action's. Let him be a loser. Its the only thing he has in life going for hisself right now.
And if he he keeps it up I will call the admin for here and have his account removed by force.
And just so everyone knows this is MY rpm I have posted the info for the rpm here. [sgrayban@borgnet sgrayban]$ rpm -qi superkaramba Name : superkaramba Relocations: (not relocatable) Version : 0.35 Vendor: Borgnet's mdk10 contrib packages (http://rpm.borgnet.us) Release : 3bgn Build Date: Fri 10 Dec 2004 02:22:09 PST Install Date: Sat 25 Dec 2004 00:53:13 PST Build Host: unimatrix-zero.borgnet.us Group : Toys Source RPM: superkaramba-0.35-3bgn.src.rpm Size : 1393928 License: GPL Signature : DSA/SHA1, Tue 14 Dec 2004 15:58:19 PST, Key ID 601fd31d4c4948c4 Packager : Scott Grayban URL : http://netdragon.sourceforge.net/ Summary : SuperKaramba allows you to create cool desktop widgets. Description : SuperKaramba allows you to create cool desktop widgets with little to no programming experience. It's similar to "Konfabulator" for the Mac. This package is made for MDK 10.x because Mandrake does not keep it updated in there RPM tree's. Build Options: --prefix=/usr
Dude, that's just wrong. You didn't explicity say that you created the rpm yourself, but you sure as hell didn't give any credit for it either. You're trying to make a loophole to back out of it. Now I may be wrong on this, but I thought the GPL said you're allowed to MODIFY things and then distribute copies of it, not just blatantly post a duplicate copy of somebody else's work and let people think you made it because you "forgot" to credit the original author. Even if my interpretation of the GPL is wrong, you're still completely disrespectful of other people's hard work.
I hope that wasn't directed towards me? Because I tell you know making the SK rpm's for mandrake isnt easy. I have to restructure the tree and fix the menu items up and make sure the builds are right. In all it takes me about 40 minutes to make 1 (thats ONE) SK rpm and thats not testing the install before I release it. And I maintain about 20+ rpm's for mdk. Add that up.
Oh, no, no, no...I was saying ekhinox is disrespectful of YOUR hard work by taking credit for making the rpm. Sorry if I worded things poorly! English may be my first language, but I'm an engineer, so I'm not that good at writing. ;-)
You should always ask the person building/hosting it if its ok. That's only being polite. The reason it isn't on the SK site is because when I first took over making the rpm's there was no one there to add it so its been on my server since then. It's the only way I can keep a accurate count of downloads and each month I give p0z3r a count. He also has access to see the stats.
Next time give people credit for things like this. We spend alot of time making them.
I'm gonna post the links for SK 0.35 (when you download it, you can see the source is your!) if you want.
Loser
I would apreciate it if you would link the rpm directly to my repository so I can get a close count on the downloads for it. After all I built it and maintain the MDK rpm for SK. The RPM repository is at http://rpm.borgnet.us and you can link it from there.
but does it work on mandrake 10.0?
I dont know, but if you have MDK 10.0 can you try and tell us if it works. Thanks for this.
thanks for your answer. really smart! :) i asked if it worked because i didn't want to unistall it and reconfigure it for nothing!
it doesn't work on mandrake 10.0 --- erro: Failed dependencies: libidn.so.11 is needed by superkaramba-0.35-3bgn libstdc++.so.6 is needed by superkaramba-0.35-3bgn libstdc++.so.6(GLIBCXX_3.4) is needed by superkaramba-0.35-3bgn ---
I had been searching all over the net for this as i received errors during compiling, finally, after resolving these errors and running sk, you release it!!!! Thanks, it will be useful for lots of people....!!!
