I can add a widget to the dock. But how do I remove a widget from the dock?

Report

Aaah, found it. Go into Latte Settings, then hover over the widget and click the little red x that appears. A bit strange that it's different than for regular launchers, but hey it works.

yep, that is... the way to do this is the same as in plasma panels in order for the plasma users to not change their workflow.

I want to love this, but why cant I add any ".desktop" to it that are in ~/.local/share/applications? I try to drag them over and when I drop them nothing happens.

i would like to report an issue but you have closed down the issue page on github ? Dolphin wont show the file transfer dialog when latte is running.

Hey! I just want to let you know that your avatar icon looks like a "Hakenkreuz" when its shown in small resolutions (like on the kde store sidebar https://pasteboard.co/HgvzcO4.png). Hope that this isn't intended at all...

Report

Well those are two things I learned today... "What is a Hakenkreuz?" and "that my identicon looks like a Swastika"... That was not intended at all. Also, this was interesting: https://bit.ly/1BWymEP

Hi Latte Dock ver. 0.7.78+git20180318.1832-0~ubuntu17.10 works great with Plasma 5.12.3, however, using this version I can't open the settings menu any more doing ar right click on the dock. Anything changed or is it an issue with Latte?

Probably you are using a different kde frameworks version than the one the package you installed was built.

Thanks for your comment. Obviously, that was the reaseon. After upgrading botjh Plasma and LD everything works perfectly again.

Many thanks for this! I couldn't get 0.7.0 working on Kubuntu 17.10.1 but 0.6.2 version works well ;)

Hi. I had the same problem. Try to delete the folder ~/.cache/lattedock and restart the dock. It worked for me. ;)

Thanks very much. It worked for me, too.

Hi, I just installed Plasma 5.12 on my Kubuntu system. Now my Latte Dock soes not start any more because of a segmentation fault. Unfortunately, the new latte plasmoid does not provide by far the features the app does. Any solution or workaround except for using the plasmoid?

Hi. I had a problem running Latte on left screen on KDE Neon. The hidden dock would not reappear unless changing screens or activities. For anyone experiencing the same problem, the fix that worked for me was to turn off: "Behave as normal dock window" in Settings/Tweaks. All good now.

You dont have to disable the "Behave as normal dock window" option. You can just disable all touch gestures from plasma systemsettings, more info at: https://github.com/psifidotos/Latte-Dock/wiki/F.A.Q.#q-my-left-dock-behaves-strangely-from-plasma-510-and-beyond-can-i-fix-this
