Hi Psifidotos. A great work. But in my case, after installing the required packages, run the script and observe that the construction of the widget ends successfully, the window appmenu does not work -except with firefox and chromium-. I have restarted Plasma and it still does not work. Do you have any idea what may be happening? My system: Kubuntu 18.04 Plasma 5.12.7; KDE Frameworks 5.47.0; Qt 5.9.5.

1. the plasma app menu applets works ok in your system?
2. I can not test the applet under plasma 5.12 so there is chance that it needs specific version for plasma 5.12

The appmenu only works with the Qt applications. In the case of the Gtk, only Firefox and Chromium. Libreoffice, Inkscape, Gimp for example, do not show the appmenu.

I'm on Neon User Edition. There is no way I can build your widget. Can you be more specific about the way to build it? The "readme" doesn't get me there at all.

you should ask experienced users of your distro how to do it... It uses the same libraries with previous Active Window Control.

mmm, interesting setup, you have two title applets, before and after the buttons, to display icon vs name :)

a user reported that he is using that setup and I wanted to demonstrate the flexibility of having three different applets to do the job... Window Title, Window Buttons and Window AppMenu
