Yep, I checked it out. I found that the real reason is that:
kf.newstuff.core: Could not determine type of archive file ' "/tmp/JroHGP-irixium-aurorae-1.3.tar.bz2"
I tried to install manually `kpackagetool5 -i irixium-aurorae-1.3.tar`, and the error message is
Error: Installation of /home/chris/Downloads/irixium-aurorae-1.3.tar failed: Could not open package file: /home/chris/Downloads/irixium-aurorae-1.3.tar
I also tried to rename the file to same filename online and the error message is
Error: Installation of /home/chris/Downloads/irixium-aurorae-1.3.tar.bz2 failed: Could not open package file, unsupported archive format: /home/chris/Downloads/irixium-aurorae-1.3.tar.bz2 application/x-bzip2-compressed-tar
Do you know if Aurorae decorations allow having buttons on two different borders?
Can we make the left border sufficiently large to also contain buttons?
1010 the best – thank you for this excellent theme, it is so well made that I have been using it on my machine for a long time. By the way, I also made a mod of this theme (a colored and another version to get a real vintage look). What do you think?

I've just updated this so you might wanna check out the changes. Need also to re-work the Plasma theme for 5.25. I've also found a copy of the original 1998 'IRIX User Interface Guidelines'. If you're interested, email me and I'll send it.

In /usr/lib/qt/plugins/org.kde.kdecoration2 there should also be kwin5_aurorae.so which is used by most user created themes.
