This is my first screenshot. It's simple, no SuperKaramba, but a lot of transparency: I think it gives a fresh new look to the desktop.

To the community, I am posting this less as a screenshot to show off my desktop and more of an example of what a screenshot should be. The download includes Debian installers and artwork used to achieve this screenshot. Maybe we could use autopackages that are platform independant or perhaps...

I finally managed to get Xgl and Compiz running on my pc; everythig is smooth and very stable so far, although I miss some small feature because I have to use gnome-window-decorator. Suse 10 on Athlon 64 3500+ Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT KDE 3.5.1 Xorg 6.8.2

Knoppix 4.0.2, KSmoothdock(via Klik), Karamba, KBFX, deKorator, MOtv(via Klik), Bitdefender, GRadio(via Klik) and a whole lot more.
